The B9.5 Audi RS4 / RS5 is a car that rewards a properly engineered front pipe. Its EA839 2.9L V6 biturbo with GPF engine produces 450 HP from the factory, and the original downpipe is built around cost, weight and noise targets rather than gas flow. Replacing it with a mandrel bent 70mm twin section removes the sharp restriction immediately after the turbine outlet, which lowers back pressure, sharpens throttle response and releases the exhaust note that the factory system holds back. This part is produced in house at our own workshop, jig welded on a dedicated B9.5 fixture, and inspected before it leaves the factory. It is supplied as a direct replacement for the original front pipe and reuses the factory gasket, clamps and hanger isolators.

The B9.5 update added a gasoline particulate filter and moved the second lambda sensor further downstream. Our pipe is built for that layout: the bosses are positioned to match the new sensor depth, the outer heat shield clears the wider filter can, and the rear connection is designed to mate with the factory GPF section rather than replace it. Mixing B9 parts onto a B9.5 car is not possible and we do not recommend it. We supply this generation mainly with the 200-cell substrate because the factory calibration tolerates it well while still delivering a noticeable sound and response change. A catless race version exists for customers who use the car exclusively on closed circuits.

• Catted or Catless Options: Order the same pipe with a 200-cell or 300-cell high flow metallic substrate, or in a straight through catless version for competition use, without changing the external dimensions of the part.
• 70mm twin Mandrel Bent Routing: The main tube is mandrel bent rather than press bent, which keeps the internal diameter constant through every bend and avoids the wall thinning that chokes flow on cheaper parts.
• Integrated Heat Management: An optional stainless thermal barrier with locking tie wire is fitted to the hot side, reducing radiant heat into the wiring loom, the intake tract and the bulkhead during repeated full load runs.
• Hardware and Gasket Kit: Each set ships with new gaskets, correct grade studs and nuts, and a fitting note, so a workshop can complete the job with standard tools in a single lift.
